Closest-to-the-Pin contest: Only one person hit the 13th green. Bob Ennis won at about 37 feet from pin. This week, the contest will be on the 5th hole.
There is a Local Rule in effect at Merrimack Golf Course that most league players are not familiar with. The USGA created the rule in 2019 and recommends it for most amateur golfers. The rule allows for an option to the Stroke and Distance penalty when a ball is lost or hit out-of-bounds.
