George Norton 1939-2011
He was the best of friends, a great man and he will be missed immensely. Bob Majeau
George was a great guy with a great sense of humor. I sent him all my best material and he always told me "Keep them coming they make my day" Rest in peace old partner of mine. Jim Dwyer
Long after most every NSGL golfer had left on each Friday evening you could find George in the far corner of the parking lot quietly puffing on his cigar before going home. That's how I'll remember him, a quiet, reflective man. He was a credit to the IRS, a credit to the NSGL and a credit to all of his other endeavors. Rest well my friend and may you find many happy fairways. Dan Crowley
"George was extremely helpful as a coworker and as a friend. He was generous with his time, and sharing his knowledge of taxes. I'll miss
his humor and all of his great IRS stories, especially about the old Cambridge office. He was always fun to play golf with. He never wasted time when he was ready to hit his golf ball. He was even quicker than Cazoo." Rick Stanton
